Site Lifting Specialist - 180305LIFTINGANGOLA

The service consists in the following activities:

HSE:

1. Promotion of safe handling and lifting operations referring to Company HSE policy, national and international standards
2. Refer to CPLO for critical lifts: participation in Risk Assessments
3. Approval and review of “Generic lifting plans”
4. Preparation and conduction of training sessions on “handling and lifting” for logistics base and company staff
5. Participation in handling and lifting audits (Company and Contractors sites)
6. Reporting of HIPO, incidents and anomalies
7. Involvement in Cause Tree Analysis process after incidents and commitment in Action Plans follow-up

Operations:

1. Supervision of lifting operations
2. Lead performance of non-routine or critical lifts, collection of data, interaction with parties (logistics base, Ship Agent, Contractors...) and integration of CPLO for Risk Assessment
3. Advise the Base Manager on lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts), CCUs (containers, baskets, racks) specifications
4. Preparation of weekly and monthly activity reports
5. On sites (company operated zones, Jetty), coaching of staff involved in lifting and handling operations
6. Ensure assimilation and application of lifting and handling procedures/instructions update through Tool box talks, Job Safety Analysis and Pre job meetings

Technical Profile

1. Knowledge of International lifting standards and best practices (ASME, FME, DIN, NSL, etc)
2. Technical knowledge of lifting equipments found on a logistic base (mobile cranes, gantry cranes, forklifts, slings, etc)
3. Preparation and check of Risk Assessments and Lifting plans for standard lifts
4. 3 years experience in Lifting trend
5. Experience in Oil and Gas Industry is required (working in hazardous area, ATEX concept)
6. HSE degrees and Certificates required
7. Language: English and Portuguese fluent, French is a plus
8. Practice of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
