Description of service
The CTA team primary objective is the preparation and execution of work required for the inspection of topside FPSO's equipment. Following the yearly Inspection plan of EXP-INS the various inspections
are prepared and planned. The work preparation results in a work dossier per equipment which will be used by the contractor to perform the work. Senior CTA Engineer is responsible for the performance of
the CTA team members and assures that the work dossiers are prepared carefully. He/she also ensures that all activities are planned and expedited. On yearly bases he shall request budget for the work to be
performed and shall follow-up and reports on the given budget.
The main tasks are as follows :
Manages the CTA junior technicians for the preparation of the work dossiers for each inspection
Manages the inspection planning and related shutdown planning of activities
Reviews the maintenance inspection plan of installed equipment for static mechanical trade
Contribute to the weekly reporting of the CTA activities.
Develop the technical follow up of his junior team and trainees
Provide relevant REX to the Static Mechanical trade (head office)
Contribute to the integration of future DB17 development
Leads the CTA junior technicians to prepare execution and Inspection related work.
Follow up site activities related to Vendors, Suppliers or Specialists venues, especially in term of preparation and management of the works.
Approve for static mechanical activities the works carried out by subcontractors before FPSO expediting.
Supervise the management of spare parts for mechanical equipment and SD period according to pre-defined strategy
Supervise and coordinate the preparation of the scheduled of main overhaul/upgrade
Evaluate the competency and the performances of contractors in Mechanical activities
Audit or have the contractors audited as necessary
Propose improvement in mechanical and overhaul maintenance strategy based on Site requests and needs
Contribute in his technical area to the integration of the future Block 17 developments on request
Participate to audits on request
Propose / study any modification to improve HSE parameters
Reports anomalies and participate on request at RCA sessions, investigation teams or initiates corrective actions
Required skills and previous work experience:
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, particularly mechanical construction, or equivalent relevant experience
Good knowledge of Oil & Gas business
Ability to distance from the work to generate an helicopter overview to be able to asses impact of various disciplines
Proficient in Mechanical static equipment, piping and structure, planning, and main overhauls
Minimum of 10 Year experience on Oil& Gas business supervisory position with relevant field experience
French and English Fluent (oral + written)
Good knowledge of maintenance/ Inspection methods (RCM, conditional monitoring), CMMS/GMAO systems(SAP),Planning tools (Primavera, MS Project)
Rigor, skill for investigation, good communication skills, organization and method.
