JOB DIMENSION

? Complexity : Advanced technical knowledge in hydrography, geodesy, subsea metrologies, cartography and GIS

? Management : Mentoring of young Angolan personnel

JOB ACTIVITIES

HSE

? Ensure that the facilities are in compliance with the specification of HSE of the Group and internal rules SIM of the Company

? Ensure that the HSE rules are respected by giving example and professionalism. Reports all anomalies

? Ensure the validity of HSE certificates of all personnel at Site (Medical Certificate, BST, HUET, …)

? Available to be a Duty Officers of GEOM

SURVEY

? Define survey systems and equipment required for all surface and subsea positioning activities (drilling, installation, metrologies…)

? Organize supervision and Quality Control of positioning and inspection survey operations

? Perform offshore trips to validate the drilling rigs positioning of the Affiliate and specific survey operations

? Organize metrology operations performed by Survey Contractor and validate results, in order to manufacture jumpers/spools

? Offer Technical Support to operations involving vessels with Dynamic Positioning

? Update charts and databases for exploration, development and production installations on regular basis

? Ensure technical management of existing positioning and metrology contracts, follow-up corresponding costs.

? Define and prepare with ACT DUET the contractual strategies, call for tenders and recommendation to award of new contracts

? Participate to meetings with local authorities as needed

? Be the key contact for the company for positioning activities, geodesy, charting, topography and survey activities taking place in the affiliate. As such, interface with all actors involved.

? Follow-up and manage training of Junior Surveyors, implement a coaching plan with regular evaluations.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

? High volumes of offshore works related to the development of deep water blocks, with a strong focus on a Development Project.

? Surface and Deepwater positioning (1000m to 2000m avg), through use of FSV vessels, drilling rigs, ROVs.

? Interfaces with various internal and external entities of the Group. Local content, R&D.

REQUIRED PROFILE

? School level required : MSc in Hydrography, Geodesy or Land Survey

? Experience in the technical domain : Minimum of 15 years, including at least 5 years as Company Representative for Survey activities
