Mission

The service consists in the following activities:

  1. Promotion of safe handling & lifting operations referring to Company HSE Policy, Technical and operational COMPANY Rules (CR), General Specifications (GS), national and international standards
  2. Assessment of handling and lifting organization in COMPANY
  3. Review of engineering calculation for critical lifts
  4. Approval of critical lifting plans and assistance to lifting operations
  5. Conduction of annual reviews in handling and lifting
  6. Participation to all handling and lifting audits (Contractors sites)
  7. Reporting of High Potential incidents and anomalies
  8. Expertise day to day handling and lifting activities on sites: lifts categorization, hazards identifications and risks assessments, technical reviews (lifting procedures and organizations), equipment's selection and contractor's equipment's suitability, toolbox talks meeting organization, post-job debriefing and completed job's assessment
  9. Generic lifting plans' periodical review and re-issue
  10. Assessments, qualifications and progress/improvement plan drafts for all personnel involved in lifting and handling operations
  11. Lifting and handling of procedures/instructions' update and development
  12. Monthly activity reports
  13. Assessment of personnel competencies to carry out lifting or handling operations
  14. Proposition of individuals to RSES for SLS nomination
  15. Assistance to COMPANY RSES's and project managers on request
  16. Search for assistance from COMPANY Headquarters CPLO if there are doubts on rules application
  17. Participation to the risk assessment and validation of the lifting plan, in case of severity level 2 lifting Participation to the lifting project and reporting to COMPANY Headquarters CPLO, in case of severity level 1 lifting. Production of detailed written hand-over for b2b when rotational, or before holidays
  18. On sites, coaching and mentoring of staff involved in lifting and handling operations
 
Profil

Technical Profile

  1. Knowledge of International lifting standards and best practices (ASME, FME, DIN, NSL, etc .)
  2. Technical knowledge of lifting equipments found on a logistic base and on offshore assets (pedestal cranes, crawler cranes, gantry cranes, forklifts, slings, etc…).
  3. 15 years experience in Lifting trend
  4. Experience in Oil & Gas Industry will be welcome
  5. Language: fluent English or French, good practice of Portuguese
  6. Computer/software: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

  1. BOST and BOSIET
  2. Advanced fire fighting
  3. Basic first aid
  4. Risk awareness and prevention
  5. Risk and the human factor
