SENIOR WELL COMPLETION SUPERINTENDENT - SWCSUPTONSHANG

IPAS PARTNERS are looking on behalf of our client for a Senior Well Completion Superintendent  in Angola, on a 4*4 rotation status , 12 months contract, onshore.

The JOB consists of:

-          providing the technical completion expertise within the drilling department

-          ensuring that all programmes are prepared and review operational performance

-          suggesting solutions for operational improvement and cost reduction

-          providing engineering support and technical advice to the Company Rigs superintendent during the completion/interventional activities

Specific activities:

-          Ensuring the engineering preparation of completion, work-over, well intervention and DST operation for exploration wells, whilst respecting HSE, the company rules, the work scope, the program and at the same time optimizing the HSE performance and costs

-          Contribution to the increase of performance of the operation by introducing new techniques/technologies

-          Optimisation of well completion operation performance fully achieving all well productivity, development within a high safety and environment awareness level

-          Follow up of all completion related activities at the completion Contractor Luanda base

-          Follow up of the engineering activities related to the completion equipment

-          Preparation of procedures for the completion operations during completion and intervention, respecting the company procedures, safety and environment

-          Optimisation of procedures and programmes in order to reduce costs and delays

-          Technical expertise to the Company drilling superintendent during completion activities

Optimization of the Company logistics offshore and onshore from base to rig and back for all the service company equipments in order to optimise offshore operations and rental costs

-          Regular feedback to the Company DT/FCP organization with a view to improve the operations while respecting the safety of personnel and equipment

-          Activities with a view to identify possible failures and proposing solutions

-          Offshore completion witness at least once a week for KPI implementation

Organize the rotation schedule in order to do a face to face handover of at least 4 hours with the back to back

Valid IWCF well control certificate.

Minimum 15 years' experience

Team management of various nationalities

Portuguese/French language an advantage

Fluent in English
