SERVICE TITLE: YARD QUALITY COORDINATOR - ASIA - WORK CYCLE: 5,5 days per week (Monday to Saturday)
MISSIONS :
Perform quality control and monitoring of yard work
for adherence to:
- the project technical specifications
- and the yard's recommended procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Anticipate
2) Closely liaises and coordinates with the Project Quality Manager;
3) Closely communicates with the Quality Leaders and Inspectors to implement the Quality Control Plan, related Inspection Test Plan and Quality Control Forms;
4) Ensures the transmission and implementation of all specifications, implementation plans, drawings, Quality Control Plans, general schedule of works, physical progress reports, 3-week look ahead planning, QC document control procedure, Easy Plant use instructions, etc.;
5) Ensure that all data from the inspections and tests are recorded and reported into appropriate format and systems;
6) Analyses the compliance to production targets, analyses productivity, identifies backlogs;
7) Implements the project's policies and procedures in particular the implementation of the re-test policy in the project;
8) Issues and transmits progress reports, weekly mobilization reports, specific equipment status reports;
Identifies and communicates the resources (personnel and equipment) gaps to the Project Quality ManagerStructure: Quality assurance, quality control, LTCS, SS, steel/alloy making processes, hot working/forging, heat treatment, mechanical testing (tensile, hardness, impact, CTOD) metallurgical testing (grain size, microstructure, macrostructure, chemical analysis), non-metallic testing (polymers, elastomers, ceramics, sintered materials), pickling and passivation processes, cladding, welding, joining techniques, etc.
Electrical: Quality assurance, quality control, Generators, motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, electrical panel, power frequency tests, gas leakage check, insulation, operational check, wiring check, short circuit testing, terminals testing, communication protocols, field instrumentation, loop checking, SIS tests, painting and coating, dielectric strength, etc.
NDT / Welding: Quality assurance, quality control, Heat treatment, hardness testing, NDT, materials, dimensional inspections, test coupons, welding procedures, pressure vessels, corrosion, piping, tanks, thermocouples, furnace calibration, etc.
HVAC: Quality assurance, quality control, Heat treatment, hardness testing, NDT, materials, dimensional inspections, test coupons, welding procedures, painting, vibration, noise, air cooling, heater, refrigeration, ventilation, piping, etc.
Painting/coating: Quality assurance, quality control, Nature of coatings, components of coatings, curing mechanisms, coating types, anti-corrosive pigments, coating system selection, conventional and advanced coating systems, surface conditions and defects, surface repairs, surface preparation, paint choice and application methods, reasons for paint failure, effect of environment on coatings, corrosion environments, etc.REPORTING: Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE
The Yard Quality Coordinator reports to the Quality Manager of the project.
A daily reporting in the activity and progress of yard contractors' work is to be delivered.REFERENTIALS
Full referentials experience required:NACE, FROSIO, SSPC, NFPA, ISO, ASTM and ISO 9001, AWS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, NEC and ISO 9001ATEX, NEC, CEC, IEC, UL, NFPA and ISO 9001.4-20 mA and Foundation Fieldbus communication protocol or other DCS, vibration, SIS, PLCs, F&G, etc. architecture and hardware

· At least 10 years of experience in industrial (preferably offshore oil & gas) steel structures, offshore modules, LNG onshore plants.
· Have knowledge of calibration of equipment and measuring requirements.
· Able to review and understand planning techniques such as material control, process control plans, rework and refurbishing techniques and processes.

Able to
understand identification and
traceability related to equipment /products /materials /samples and the
associated documents/records relating to conformance /non-conformance, results
from manufacturing processes and results from monitoring /measurement
processes.
